Smoky Callaloo Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew made with smoky sausages, zesty spices, callaloo, and australian beef.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Smoky SausagesCut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 cups CallalooChopped
- β1 pound Australian BeefCut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 teaspoons Zesty SpicesJamaican jerk seasoning
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
- β1 teaspoon Stew Seasoning
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Brown the sausage pieces, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped callaloo, beef pieces, zesty spices, tomato paste, stew seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Stir well to combine.

Return the browned sausage to the pot.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
