Pan-Seared Canadian Chops
A delicious and flavorful dish made with tender Canadian pork chops. The sour notes from the marinade add a nice balance to the rich flavor of the chops.
Ingredients

- ●2 tablespoons chewy brown sugar
- ●2 tablespoons sour apple cider vinegar
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil
- ●1 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

While the pork chops are cooking, mix together the brown sugar and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.

After the pork chops have finished cooking, brush the brown sugar mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
