Lebanese Stew with Crispy Pork
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Lebanon, topped with crispy pork. Perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients

- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup crumblycrumbly breadcrumb mixture
- β1 tablespoon lebaneselebanese spice blend
- β2 tablespoons tomato pasteoptional
- β1 tablespoon soursour cream
- β1 cup stewlebanese stew spice blend
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the pork cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes, lebanese spice blend, crumbly breadcrumb mixture, and stew spice blend.

Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.

Stir in the sour cream and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
