Moroccan Sea Bass Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic Moroccan-inspired dish featuring sea bass cooked in a rich tamarind and sour sauce.
Ingredients

- β2 tbsp tamarind paste
- β1 cup sour cherriesfresh or frozen
- β1 tsp moroccan spice mixstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the sea bass fillets with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe tagine or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the sea bass fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, then remove from heat.

Add the tamarind paste, sour cherries, and moroccan spice mix to the tagine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Return the sea bass fillets to the tagine and cover with a lid.

Transfer the tagine to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Serve the sea bass with the tamarind sauce spooned over the top.
