Portuguese Chicken Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful dish that combines the bold flavors of Portugal with the quick cooking of a stir fry.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β1/4 cup sour creamfor serving
- β2 tender bell peppersany color
- β1 teaspoon portuguese spicessuch as paprika and oregano
- β2 cloves garlicminced
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet and add the bell peppers.

Cook until the bell peppers are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the portuguese spices and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and spices.
