Crispy Sous Vide Chuck Roast with German Seasoning
A tender and flavorful roast made with a sous vide machine and crispy German seasoning.
Ingredients
- β1.5 kg Chuck RoastBoneless
- β1 Sous Vide Machine
- β2 tbsp Crispy German Seasoning
- β1 tsp Salt
- β0.5 tsp Black Pepper
- β2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- β1/4 cup Red Wine (optional)

Preheat the sous vide machine to 130Β°C (266Β°F).

Season the chuck roast with salt and black pepper.

Sear the roast in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Place the roast in the sous vide machine and cook for 24 hours.

Remove the roast from the sous vide machine and sear it again in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Brush the roast with unsalted butter and sprinkle with crispy German seasoning.

If desired, add a splash of red wine to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
