Slovakian Chicken with Spicy Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy stir fry dish made with chicken and a variety of vegetables, inspired by Slovakian cuisine.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β2 tsp flaky saltground
- β2 tsp slovakian paprikaground
- β1 tsp turmeric powderground
- β2 tbsp vegetable oil
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium bell pepperthinly sliced
- β200g stir-fry vegetables (e.g. broccoli, carrots)fresh
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the stir-fry vegetables to the skillet and cook until tender, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the turmeric powder and flaky salt to the skillet and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and spices.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
