Scotch Egg with British Flair
A classic scotch egg taken to the next level with a British twist. Crispy, savory, and utterly delicious!
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Ground scotch80/20 ratio of meat to fat
- ●6 EggHard-boiled and peeled
- ●1/4 cup Glazed oilFor frying
- ●1 teaspoon Nutty seasoningsPaprika, garlic powder, onion powder
- ●2 tablespoons Lacquer sauceOptional for added flavor
Instructions

Preheat the oil to 350°F (180°C).

In a bowl, mix together the ground scotch, nutty seasonings, and a pinch of salt.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts and shape each into a ball.

Flatten each ball slightly into a disk shape.

Wrap each disk around a hard-boiled egg, pressing the edges to seal.

Dredge the scotch eggs in a mixture of flour, paprika, and a pinch of salt.

Fry the scotch eggs in the preheated oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain the scotch eggs on paper towels and let cool for a few minutes.
