Persian-Style Cucumber Casserole
A refreshing and flavorful casserole that combines the best of Persian and French cuisine, perfect for a light dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
- β2 large cucumberseeded and sliced
- β1 loaf french breadcubed
- β1 block feta cheesecrumbly
- β1 bunch fresh dillchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice
- β1/4 cup olive oil
- βto taste salt

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, mix together the sliced cucumber, chopped fresh dill, minced garlic, and lemon juice.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cubed French bread, crumbly feta cheese, and a pinch of salt.

In a 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of the bread mixture.

Top the bread layer with the cucumber mixture.

Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the casserole.

Repeat the layers one more time, ending with a layer of bread on top.
