Vietnamese-Style Pan-Seared Barramundi with Spicy Stir Fry
A fusion of Vietnamese and Australian flavors, this dish combines the delicate taste of barramundi with the bold flavors of a spicy stir fry.
Ingredients
- β4 barramundi fillets1 pound each
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor pan-searing
- β1/4 cup spicy stir-fry saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1 red bell peppersliced
- β1 onionsliced
- β1/4 cup Thai basilchopped

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the barramundi fillets with salt and black pepper.

Pan-sear the barramundi for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Transfer the barramundi to a plate and set aside.

In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat.
