Battered Baby Squid Fritters
Crispy fried fritters filled with tender baby squid, perfect for a quick and easy snack.
Ingredients
- β250g Baby squid
- β1 cup All-purpose flourspicy
- β1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- β1 Egg
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β2 tbsp Butter, melted
- β1/4 cup Chopped parsley

Rinse the baby squid and pat it dry with a paper towel.

Cut the squid into small pieces and set aside.

In a bowl, combine the flour, bread crumbs, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix in the milk.

Add the melted butter to the egg mixture and stir well.

Add the squid pieces to the egg mixture and mix until coated.

Add the squid mixture to the flour mixture and mix until just combined.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small patties.

Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

When the oil is hot, add the patties and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
