Chestnut Salad with Date Dressing
A simple salad made with roasted chestnuts, mixed greens, and a sweet date dressing.
Ingredients

- ●4 cups Mixed Greens
- ●1/4 cup Dates
- ●2 tablespoons Water
- ●optional Salad
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Rinse the chestnuts and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Wrap the chestnuts in foil and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

Let the chestnuts cool slightly, then peel and chop them.

In a blender or food processor, combine the dates, water, and a pinch of salt.

Blend until smooth to make the date dressing.

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, chopped chestnuts, and date dressing.
