Pan-Seared Squid with French Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful dish that combines the tender squid with a savory French-inspired stir fry.
Ingredients
- β500g Squid cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 Leekssliced
- β1 bulb Fennelsliced
- β1/4 cup White wine
- β2 tbsp Butter

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the squid and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.

Remove the squid from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the leeks and fennel to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until tender.

Add the white wine to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the liquid has almost completely evaporated.

Add the butter to the skillet and stir until melted.

Return the squid to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
