Vermicelli Noodle Carbonara
A classic Italian pasta dish made with bacon, eggs, parmesan, and vermicelli noodles. Serves 4-6 people.
Ingredients
- β12 oz (340g) Vermicelli noodleslong, thin noodles
- β6 slices Canadian baconthinly sliced
- β1 medium Sweet onionsthinly sliced
- β4 large Eggsbeaten
- β1 cup (115g) Parmesan cheesegrated
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.

While the noodles cook, cook the Canadian bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy.

Add the thinly sliced onions to the pan and cook until translucent.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and grated parmesan cheese.

Add the cooked noodles to the bowl and toss with the egg mixture.

Add the cooked bacon and onion mixture to the bowl and toss to combine.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
