Dutch Pepper Fritters
A sweet and crispy fritter recipe that combines the spices of the Netherlands with a kick of pepper.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Quick fix flour
- β1/2 cup Stir fry mix
- β1 cup Chewy sweetenerCan be replaced with sugar or honey
- β1 tsp Pepper
- β1/2 tsp Salt
- β1 large Egg
Instructions

In a large bowl combine the flour, stir fry mix, sweetener, pepper, and salt.

Crack in the egg and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

Shape each piece into a ball and then flatten slightly into a disk.

Heat a non-stick pan with a small amount of oil over medium heat.

Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Remove the fritters from the pan and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
