German Fish Pilaf
A hearty German dish made with fish, pilaf, and a hint of malaysian spices.
Ingredients
- β4 fillets Fishsuch as cod or haddock
- β1 cup Pilafcooked according to package instructions
- β1 tsp Malaysian chili flakesor to taste
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Creamoptional
Instructions

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the fish and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Add the pilaf and chili flakes to the skillet. Stir to combine.

If using cream, stir it in at this point.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh herbs if desired.
