Braised Lamb Shanks
A hearty, comforting dish featuring tender lamb shanks in a rich, flavorful sauce.
Ingredients

- ●2 medium onions sweet
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil light
- ●1 cup all-purpose flour canadian
- ●1 cup red wine braise

1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

2. Season the lamb shanks with salt and pepper.

3. Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

4. Sear the lamb shanks until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.

5. Remove the lamb from the pot and set aside.

6. Add the onions to the pot and cook until they're dark and caramelized, about 20 minutes.

7. Add the flour to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

8. Add the red wine to the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

9. Return the lamb to the pot and bring the sauce to a boil.
