Chicken Italian Skillet
A flavorful and easy-to-make Italian-inspired chicken skillet recipe, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breastscut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 lb sweet italian sausage
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β skillet
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp pepper
- β1 tsp basildried
- β1 cup chicken broth
- β1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions

Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, 5 minutes.

Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 3-4 minutes.

Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 5-6 minutes.

Stir in the chicken broth, salt, pepper, and basil.
