Croatian Apple Strudel
A classic Croatian dessert with a sweet and sophisticated twist. Flaky puff pastry filled with tender apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
Ingredients

- ●2 medium Apples
- ●1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- ●1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ●1/4 cup Unsalted Butter

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon.

Spread the apple mixture evenly over the center of the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Dot the top of the apple mixture with the unsalted butter.

Fold the 1-inch border of the puff pastry up over the apple mixture, pressing gently to seal.

Roll the strudel into a tight log and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the top of the strudel with a little bit of water and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
