Creamy Potatoes British Style
A comforting side dish inspired by traditional British cuisine, featuring creamy potatoes, a tangy twist, and a crispy topping.

- β2 tablespoons Gratinunsalted butter
- β1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- β1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large saucepan, combine sliced potatoes and enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Drain potatoes and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

In a separate saucepan, combine heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
