Slovakian Vegetable Dumplings
A hearty Slovakian-inspired vegetarian dish featuring tangy and dense vegetable dumplings.
Ingredients
- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Warm water
- β1 head Tangy cabbage
- β2 large Dense carrots
- β2 tsp Slovakian paprika
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and warm water to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

Roll out each piece into a thin circle.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the cabbage and carrots to the pan and cook until softened.

Add the paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir to combine.

Place a tablespoon of the cabbage and carrot mixture onto the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-circle shape and press the edges together to seal.

Heat a large pot of salted water over high heat.
