French Sausage Stew
A hearty French-inspired stew made with juicy sausage and a tangy twist.
Ingredients

- β2 cups stewyour favorite stew mix
- β1 medium onion
- β2 cups mushroom
- β2 tablespoons tomato paste
- β1 cup red wine
- β2 cups beef broth
- β1/4 cup tangy BBQ sauce
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the French sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the stew mix, tomato paste, red wine, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
