Pan-Seared Barramundi with Venezuelan Stir Fry Sauce
A delicious and flavorful dish that combines the freshness of barramundi with the spices of Venezuela. The tangy stir fry sauce adds a nice balance to the silky texture of the fish.
Ingredients
- β4 barramundi fillets
- β1/2 cup olive oil
- β1 onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp coriander
- β1/2 tsp chili flakes
- β2 tbsp lemon juice
- β1 tbsp honey

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Season the barramundi fillets with salt and pepper.

Add the barramundi to the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Remove the barramundi from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the cumin, coriander, and chili flakes and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in the lemon juice and honey.

Return the barramundi to the pan and spoon some of the stir fry sauce over the top.
