French Chicken Casserole
A classic French-inspired dish made with tender chicken, tangy sauce, and a crispy casserole top.

- ●1 cup tangy saucestore-bought or homemade
- ●1 loaf French breadcubed
- ●1 cup grated cheeseGruyère or Cheddar
- ●4 tablespoons unsalted buttermelted

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the chicken with salt and cook in a skillet until browned.

In a separate pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with the tangy sauce.

In a large baking dish, arrange a layer of cubed bread, followed by a layer of cooked chicken, and then a layer of tangy sauce.

Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a layer of bread on top.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top and dot with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
