Slovakian Pancake Tart
A sweet and crunchy dessert combining the best of Slovakian pancakes and a flaky tart crust.
Ingredients
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1 cup granulated sugar
- β1/2 cup cold unsalted buttercut into small pieces
- β1 cup sour cream
- β2 large eggs
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1 package tart crust
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the tart crust and place in a 9-inch tart pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.

Add cold butter and use a pastry blender or fingers to work into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream and eggs.

Add vanilla extract and whisk until combined.

Pour sour cream mixture into flour mixture and stir until just combined.

Pour batter into tart crust.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
