Yakitori-Style Chicken Skewers
Grilled chicken skewers with a sweet and savory yakitori glaze, inspired by Japanese street food.
Ingredients
- β1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1/4 cup yakitori glazesee below
- β2 tbsp soy saucefor marinade
- β1 tsp brown sugarfor marinade
- β1 tsp garlic powderfor marinade
- βto taste black pepperfor marinade
- β10-12 skewerssoaked in water for 30 minutes

In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
