Korean-Style Doenjang Pancakes
A twist on traditional pancakes, these Korean-style doenjang pancakes are savory and delicious. Perfect for a quick snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups Toasted Korean flour
- β1/2 cup Doenjang
- β3/4 cup Water
- β1 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tbsp Sesame oil
- β1/4 cup Green onion
- β1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds

In a large bowl, whisk together the toasted Korean flour and doenjang.

Add the water, Korean chili flakes, and sesame oil to the bowl. Mix until a smooth batter forms.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the pan.

Cook the pancakes for 2-3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to dry.

Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve the pancakes hot with toasted sesame seeds and green onion on top.
