Japanese Okonomiyaki with Pomegranate Glaze
A twist on the classic Japanese savory pancake, topped with a sweet and tangy pomegranate glaze.
Ingredients
- β1 block Tempting Tofuextra-firm, drained and crumbled
- β2 cloves Garlicky Gingerminced
- β1 cup Japanese Cabbageshredded
- β1/2 cup Okonomiyaki Saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1/4 cup Pomegranate Glazesee below
- β1 tablespoon Sesame Seedsoptional
- β1 tablespoon Soy Sauceoptional

In a large bowl, whisk together Okonomiyaki Sauce, Soy Sauce (if using), and Sesame Seeds (if using).

Add crumbled tofu, minced ginger, and shredded cabbage to the bowl. Mix well.

Heat a non-stick pan or okonomiyaki pan over medium heat.

Pour the batter into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the other side is also golden brown.

While the pancake is cooking, prepare the Pomegranate Glaze (see below).

Once the pancake is cooked, brush the Pomegranate Glaze on top.
