Beef Bourguignon
A classic French dish made with tender beef and vegetables in a rich, flavorful broth.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs French beef stew meat
- β1 large Onion
- β2 medium Carrot
- β2 medium Pot
- β8 oz Mushroomfresh
- β2 tbsp Tomato paste
- β1 cup Red winedry
- β2 cups Beef broth
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add onion, carrot, and pot to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add mushroom and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add red wine and beef broth to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2.5 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
