Tender Chicken Skillet
Quick and easy skillet dish made with tender chicken and a hint of American flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breastCut into bite-sized pieces
- β1/2 cup 1/2 cup all-purpose flourFor coating the chicken
- β1 tsp 1 tsp paprika
- β1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- β1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp salt
- β1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp black pepper
- β2 tbsp 2 tbsp butter
- β1 1 large onionSliced
- β2 2 cloves garlicMinced
- β1 cup 1 cup mixed bell peppersSliced
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet.

Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Return the chicken to the skillet and add the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
