Roasted Beetroot and Tenderloin
A classic dish combining the sweet flavors of beetroot with the savory taste of tenderloin. Perfect for a special occasion or dinner party.
Ingredients
- β1 piece Tenderloin Steak (1.5 lbs)
- β2-3 pieces Beetroot (2-3 medium)
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
- β Salt and Pepper
- β2 pieces Roast Garlic (2 cloves)
- β1 sprig Fresh Thyme
- β1 piece Canadian Bacon (1/4 cup diced)

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the tenderloin steak with salt and pepper.

In a large bowl, toss the beetroot with olive oil, roast garlic, and thyme until they are evenly coated.

Spread the beetroot mixture on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender.

Meanwhile, sear the tenderloin steak in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the tenderloin reaches your desired level of doneness.
