Baked Chaozhou Tofu with Tender Greens
A gluten-free, plant-based dish featuring tender Chaozhou tofu, crisp tender greens, and a hint of baked sweetness.
Ingredients
- ●1 bunch Tender greensAny variety of tender greens such as bok choy or Chinese broccoli
- ●1 block Chaozhou tofuExtra-firm tofu, drained and cubed
- ●2 tbsp Olive oil
- ●1 clove GarlicMinced
- ●1 tsp GingerGrated
- ●1 tsp Soy sauceGluten-free soy sauce
- ●1 tsp Brown sugar
- ● Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.

Add the cubed tofu to the bowl and toss to coat.

Place the tofu on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tofu is golden brown.

Meanwhile, prepare the tender greens by washing and drying them.

Heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the greens to the pan and cook until wilted.
