Charred Duck Casserole
A hearty, savory dish featuring tender duck, charred vegetables, and a rich French-inspired sauce.

- β2 large Charred bell peppersCharred over an open flame or in the oven
- β1 packet French onion soup mix
- β3-4 medium Casserole potatoes
- β1 cup Shredded cheese
- β2 sprigs French thyme
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Red wine

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Season the duck breast with salt, pepper, and French thyme.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the duck breast until browned on both sides, then transfer to a baking dish.

Add the charred bell peppers, French onion soup mix, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the red wine to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced by half.

Arrange the casserole potatoes around the duck breast in the baking dish.
