Vietnamese-Style Grilled Cheese Nem
A fusion dish that combines the flavors of Vietnam with the comfort of grilled cheese. Tender nem wrappers filled with melted cheese, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- β8-10 Vietnamese nem wrappersfound in most Asian grocery stores
- β1 cup, shredded Gouda cheese
- β1/2 cup, shredded Cheesesuch as mozzarella or cheddar
- β2 tablespoons, chopped green onions Tender
- β1/4 cup, chopped fresh cilantro Nuon

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Cut the nem wrappers into 4-inch squares.

Place a square of nem wrapper on a flat surface and sprinkle a quarter of the shredded cheese in the center.

Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press the edges together to seal.

Heat a non-stick pan or grill over medium heat and cook the nem for 2-3 minutes on each side, until crispy and golden.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and cheese.
