Korean-Style Braised Naengmyeon with Cabbage
A French-inspired twist on the Korean dish, featuring tender naengmyeon noodles and a rich, savory sauce made with Korean chili flakes and tender cabbage.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Naengmyeon noodles
- β1 medium head Cabbage
- β2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β2-inch piece Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar to the pan. Whisk until smooth.

Add the cabbage to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the naengmyeon noodles to the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.
