Thai Tom Kha Tagliatelle
A creamy Thai-inspired pasta dish with a spicy twist, made with tender tagliatelle, a flavorful tom kha sauce, and a hint of Thai spices.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Tagliatelle pasta
- β1 can (14 oz) Tender coconut milk
- β2 tbsp Tom kha paste
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β2 Thai red chiliessliced
- β1 tsp Fish sauce
- β1 tsp Palm sugardissolved in 1 tbsp water
- β2 tbsp Lime juice
- β1/4 cup Fresh basilchopped

Cook the tagliatelle pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced Thai red chilies and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the tom kha paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the coconut milk and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Add the fish sauce, palm sugar, and lime juice. Stir to combine.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.

Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the skillet and toss with the tom kha sauce.

If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.

Stir in the chopped fresh basil.
