Japanese Beef Sandwich
A simple and delicious sandwich recipe featuring thinly sliced Japanese beef, crispy lettuce, and tangy teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- β1/4 cup Teriyaki sauce
- β4 leaves Lettuce
- β4 Buns
- β2 tbsp Mayonnaise (optional)
- β1 tbsp Pickled ginger (optional)

1. Slice the beef into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

4. While the beef is cooking, toast the buns in the oven or on the grill.

5. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun, if using.

6. Add a few slices of beef to the bottom bun.

7. Add a few leaves of lettuce on top of the beef.

8. Drizzle a little teriyaki sauce over the lettuce.
