Filipino Fish Soup
A hearty and flavorful Filipino-inspired fish soup, perfect for a comforting meal. This dish is rich in protein and can be served with a side of steamed rice.
Ingredients
- β1 pound fishany white fish works well
- β1 can soupuse a low-sodium broth
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce filipinooptional, to taste
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil fatty
- β1 teaspoon ground black pepper tingly
- βto taste salt
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 medium tomatochopped
- β1-2 green chili

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add fish and cook until browned on both sides.

Add soup, fish sauce (if using), salt, and pepper.
