French Beef Curry
A classic French twist on the popular Indian dish, featuring tender beef and a rich, flavorful curry sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g beef stripssirloin or ribeye work well
- β1 large onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 tbsp curry powder
- β1 tsp garam masala
- β2 tbsp tomato paste
- β1 cup beef broth
- β1/2 cup heavy cream
- β2 tbsp butter
- β salt and pepperto taste

Heat butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove beef from pot and set aside.

Add onion and garlic to pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in curry powder and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add beef broth and bring to a boil.

Return beef to pot and simmer until tender, about 1 1/2 hours.

Stir in heavy cream and garam masala.
