Argentinian Empanadas with Umami Crust
A crispy empanada recipe with a savory umami twist, inspired by Argentinian flavors. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Flourall-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon Umamimiso paste or umami seasoning
- β1/4 cup Crispycrushed tortilla chips or crispy fried onions
- β1/4 cup Argentiniandiced chorizo or Argentine-style beef
- β1/4 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepperto taste

2. In a large bowl, combine flour, umami, and crispy. Mix well.

3. Gradually add water to the bowl, mixing until a dough forms.
