Stir Fry Adventure
A simple and delicious stir fry recipe perfect for adventurous eaters. This dish combines the savory flavors of umami with the protein-rich tofu.
Ingredients
- β1 block TofuExtra-firm, drained and diced
- β2 tsp UmamiSoy sauce or tamari
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor stir-frying
- β1 tsp GingerGrated
- β1 tsp GarlicMinced
- β1 Bell pepperSliced
- β1 CarrotSliced
- β1/4 cup ScallionsChopped
- β1 tsp Sesame oilFor garnish

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the diced tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the sliced bell pepper and carrot and cook for 3-4 minutes, until tender.

Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, umami, and sesame oil.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the tofu is coated in the sauce.
