Pan-Seared Snapper with Umami Glaze
A simple and flavorful dish featuring pan-seared snapper topped with a savory umami glaze.
Ingredients

- β2 tbsp Umami glazeHomemade or store-bought
- β1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β1 tsp GingerGrated
- β1 tsp Soy sauceOptional

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the snapper fillets with salt and pepper.

Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the snapper fillets and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the snapper is baking, prepare the umami glaze by whisking together the umami glaze, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.

Remove the skillet from the oven and brush the umami glaze over the top of each snapper fillet.
