Polish Shrimp Casserole
A rich and savory Polish-inspired casserole filled with succulent shrimp. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients

- β12 large shrimppeeled and deveined
- β1 lb polish sausagecut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 medium casserolediced
- β1/4 cup kissechopped
- β1 medium oniondiced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp all-purpose flouroptional
- β1 tsp saltoptional
- β1 tsp black pepperoptional

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the Polish sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.

In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

Add the diced casserole to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage mixture, shrimp mixture, and casserole mixture.

Stir in the chopped kisse and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish and top with additional kisse if desired.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
