Filipino-Style Stir Fry with Shellfish
A flavorful and nutritious stir fry dish made with succulent shellfish and a blend of Filipino spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Shellfish (shrimp and mussels)fresh and cleaned
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor stir-frying
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Light soy saucefor marinade
- β1 tablespoon Velvety stir-fry saucestore-bought or homemade
- βto taste Salt and pepperfor seasoning

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.

Add the shellfish and cook until they start to turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the light soy sauce and velvety stir-fry sauce, and stir to combine.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the shellfish are cooked through.
