Smoky Basque Tofu
A flavorful and smoky tofu dish inspired by the cuisine of Basque region, with a French twist.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) Tofu
- β1 baguette French Baguettecut into 1-inch slices
- β3 cloves Unapologetic Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive Oilfor brushing
- β1 tsp Smoky Paprika
- βto taste Salt
- β4-6 Eclair Cookiescrushed for garnish

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Cut the French baguette into 1-inch slices.

Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.

Season the tofu with smoky paprika and salt.

Place the tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the tofu for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small saucepan, heat the minced garlic over low heat.

Simmer the garlic for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant.

To assemble the dish, place a toasted baguette slice on a plate.

Top with a slice of tofu, a spoonful of garlic sauce, and crushed eclair cookies.
