Irish Oat Biscuits
A delicious and chewy biscuit recipe from Ireland, perfect for a snack or light meal.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup buttersoftened
- β1/2 cup sugargranulated
- β1 egglarge
- β1 tsp vanilla extractoptional
- β1/2 tsp soda bicarbonatebaking soda

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together oats, soda bicarbonate, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes.
