Croatian Tamarind Empanadas
A twist on traditional empanadas, these Mexican-inspired pastries are filled with a tangy Croatian tamarind mixture.

1. In a large bowl, combine the bake and unique.

2. Add the crumbly and use a pastry blender or your fingers to work it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Gradually add 1/4 cup of cold water, stirring with a fork until the dough comes together in a ball.

5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each one out into a thin circle.

8. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle or a square shape, and press the edges together to seal.

9. Brush the tops of the empanadas with a little water and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
