Italian Apple Lasagna
A creative twist on the classic lasagna, with layers of pillowy dough, sweet apples, and rich Italian flavors.

- β1 teaspoon Pillowy yeastActive dry yeast
- β1/2 cup Italian sugarGranulated sugar
- β1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- β2 large apples, sliced Apple filling
- β1 package (8 oz) Lasagna dough
- β1 cup Ricotta cheese
- β1 Egg, beaten
- β2 tablespoons Melted butter

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the lasagna dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm).

In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix together the sliced apples and cinnamon.

Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture onto the dough, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.

Top with a layer of apple slices, followed by another layer of dough.

Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a layer of dough on top.
