Vietnamese Crispy Meat Spring Rolls
A delicious and easy-to-make Vietnamese-inspired snack or appetizer with crispy spring rolls filled with savory meat.
Ingredients
- β200g Meat (pork or beef)ground meat
- β200g Pho noodlesthin, round noodles
- β2 tbsp Unique Vietnamese sauceavailable in most Asian grocery stores
- β2 tbsp Sour restrelish or kimchi
- β1 cup Crumbly breadcrumbsgluten-free or regular
- β1 cup Vegetable oilfor frying
- β1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped for garnish

1. Prepare the meat by mixing it with the Vietnamese sauce, sour rest, and a pinch of salt.

2. Add the pho noodles to the mixture and stir until well combined.

3. Lay a spring roll wrapper flat and place about 1 tablespoon of the meat-noodle mixture in the center.

4. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the bottom half over the filling.

5. Fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

7. Heat about 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

8. When the oil is hot, add a few spring rolls to the skillet (do not overcrowd).

9. Fry until the spring rolls are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

10. Remove the spring rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
