Stir-Fried Chow Fun with Umami Sauce
A quick and flavorful stir-fry made with chow fun noodles, umami sauce, and unique vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 cup chow fun noodlespreferably fresh
- β2 tablespoons umami saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilsuch as peanut or canola
- β1 cup chopped bell peppersany color
- β1/4 cup chopped scallionsgreen and white parts
- β8 ounces unique mushroomssuch as shiitake or cremini
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped bell peppers and cook until they start to soften, about 3 minutes.

Add the chopped scallions and cook for another minute.

Add the umami sauce and stir to combine.

Add the chow fun noodles to the skillet or wok and stir to combine with the sauce.

Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the noodles are heated through and starting to brown.

Add the unique mushrooms to the skillet or wok and stir to combine.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
